Khumbu Region’s Video from Nepal featured in YouTube’s top 10 travel videos of 2015

Recently Google made public the 10 most beautiful travel related videos of this year. A video of the Khumbu region released earlier this year has ranked no. 9 in the list of the most popular travel-related YouTube videos of the year 2015.

One minute and 48 second long video has achieved more than 5 million views and is liked by 28 hundred on Google Maps’ official YouTube page. It shows stunning time lapses and vistas of the region, including Himalayas of the region, Buddhists monasteries and charming lives of the region’s inhabitants.

Google had finalized the list after reviewing its data collected from its search engine and its video-sharing site YouTube. France Air’s 45-second video topped the list this year with a total of 87.9 million views. Other videos in the list include promotional videos of airliners and hotels, including those produced by Turkish Air, Boeing, Delta Airlines, Marriott Hotels and Disney Parks etc.
