Nepal Re-opening for tourism from October 17 2020

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs Nepal has announced the decision of permitting foreign tourists to visit Nepal from October 17, especially for trekking and mountaineering expeditions. Every international tourist has to have a PCR report confirming their test for COVID-19 to be negative.

The PCR test should be done within 72 hours of boarding for departure. The Civil Aviation Authority will monitor the necessary visa work to be carried out. The Royal prince of Bahrain along with his military expedition team has arrived in Nepal for mountaineering.
