The Everest region, located in Eastern part of Nepal, is one of the most famous trekking regions in Nepal. It offers a daydream experience. The area is protected by the Sagarmatha National Park, launched in 1976 and covers an area of 1148 sq km. The park is mainly situated on the rough topography and ravines of the high Himalayas. 

The Everest region (8848 m) is a home to the highest mountain in the world; Mt. Everest. One of the classic treks of all time, this trek allows you to witness the majestic views of snow-capped mountains like Mt. Lhotse (8,516 m), Mt. Cho Oyu (8,153m.), Mt.  Makalu (8,463m.) and Ama Dablam (6,856m.).  

The best time to trek to the Everest region is from March to mid-May and September to mid-November.

Trekkers can also explore the beautiful monasteries, the rich culture and tradition of the Sherpa community and their lifestyles. The region is rich in flora (pine, fir, hemlock, birch, juniper, rhododendron) and fauna (tahr, ghoral, serow, musk deer, blood pheasant, impedance pheasant, the yellow-billed chough, red-billed chough) which makes it an ideal travel destination.
